When being sick just isn’t an option: How to beat the winter blues

A few days ago, a patient of mine woke up, got the kids off to school, went to the gym and had a killer workout, but by mid-morning they felt as though “the walls were falling down” on them. They had been running around like a maniac throughout the holidays and a seasonal virus strain caught up with them and started to sneak past their normally strong defenses.
